Meeting the right person is our ticket to a relationship that will possibly lead to marriage. If I'm working long hours—especially if I'm working two jobs—having the luxury of dating seems just out of my reach. I was in a long-term relationship; after 15 years of commitment to one person; meeting someone new is not on top of my list of priorities. Two and a half years later, here I am; still single! My closest friends and family members remind me how beautiful I am, express to me; I need to make some time for a personal life.
I got to know a nice gal on OKC for a few weeks before we decided to meet up for a hiking date. She only wanted to communicate through email or the dating site -which I thought was odd but just went with it. For 90mins- I felt like a deer during hunting season on that hike.
Dating is messy enough as is, but the Internet complicates it even more. How can you definitely know who a person is before you meet them IRL? What if they secretly have a face tattoo? Etc, etc. The conversation was terrible, but I noticed she was taking the chicken fingers and ripping them up in her hands and putting the breading in her huge purse.
