Many singles find challenges in their singles ward. They struggle to feel included within groups or cliques Numerous singles have an issue or insecurity in their life that is difficult to discuss. Dating can be stressful. Every ward has one or two single men who are simply amazing, and yet, year after year, they remain single.
Most LDS singles strive to be their best in every aspect of life. They fear settling for something that is mediocre in dating and love. They hope for amazing and even enviable relationships. As a dating and relationship coach, I frequently help singles evaluate the wisdom of staying in or leaving their relationships. To do this I often use the analogy of an orchard. Singles represent the seed and their dating partners represent the soil.
